While 2020 is a year that a good many of us would probably prefer to forget, there are also things that make it worth remembering. For one, it’s the year that the FDA changed its tune on mercury amalgam, recommending against its use in about 60% of the US population. It’s also the year that plaintiffs made real headway in their case against the EPA on the matter of fluoridation.
Such accomplishments are worth raising a glass to as this challenging year draws to a close.
And while COVID understandably dominated health headlines this year, there was also plenty of other new research enriching our understanding of mouth/body health – something that’s reflected in this year’s 10 most viewed posts on our blog:

Here’s hoping that you and your family enjoy a safe and festive holiday season this year – and that 2021 brings good things to you and yours. After all we’ve collectively endured this year, we certainly deserve it!
We’ll see you back here after the first of the year…
